If you're looking to plan a wedding that's the perfect combination of the relaxed feel of an elopement but also a warm and welcoming family event then you can't go wrong with how Megan and Will planned their wedding. A scorching hot September day took me to Stratford-upon-Avon and I couldn't have been more excited! As a self confessed Shakespeare geek Stratford has a very special place in my heart and getting to spend the day with a couple as lovely as these two and their equally lovely families I was absolutely blessed!

We started the morning getting ready with Megan and her sisters in one of the gorgeous rooms at The Swan Hotel before heading around to the Henley Rooms for their ceremony. I'd never been here before and it's such a lovely room, light and welcoming (which any photographer will tell you this isn't always the case with a register office wedding!). After a lovely, heartfelt and tear-filled ceremony we all poured out into the street before I took Will and Megan for a walk. Catching some of the iconic locations in Stratford as well as just having a gorgeous walk by the river it was gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!

Back at The Swan the guests showered them in confetti before enjoying the air conditioning in the lovely reception room where one of the best 'Father of the Bride' speeches I've ever witnessed took place. This is why, if I end up with kids, I will be videoing everything just to pull out their multiple hidden talents. Megan's ability with a hula hoop is something to see!

Weddings like this are why I have my 'Little One' package - it's perfect for these intimate, more low-key weddings and sometimes these ones end up being my favourites!
