I met this lovely pair at a wedding show in Shropshire (the only one I managed to do whilst on my crutches last year!) and the second they mentioned Rowton Castle I knew I was there! It's one of my new local-ish venues and it's just glorious as a venue!

I first met Sean and Katie (and Lee and Aoife) at the beautiful Haughmond Hill where they had their first date, and thankfully Sean was a little more appropriately dress for the shoot. Instantly I knew that I'd have a lovely time with them and I was so excited for their wedding day.

Being the British summer of 2023 it was a bit touch and go about whether they would be allowed to have their ceremony outside but thankfully it all came together beautifully and, besides some pretty gusty winds, the weather was completely on their side. The whole day was just relaxed, elegant and had such a warm focus on family (and with Sean's family being Irish the amount of Guinness consumed was impressive and I did get up at 6am to watch YouTube videos on how to pronounce Irish names).

I loved the styling of this wedding with a really sophisticated Disney vibe and gorgeous handmade decorations denoting the tables. If you want a Disney wedding without veering into it being a bit naff take a look below for some serious inspo!
